Ranked Mode & Competitive Vibes in BO6

Hey competitive players—how’s Ranked feeling in bo6 bot lobby so far?

I jumped into 10 placement matches and already see big improvements over last year. The matchmaking is tighter, penalties for quitting are steeper, and the SR system is a bit more transparent. Finally.

The new pick-and-ban phase is a great addition. No more cheesy stun + shotgun setups making it through. It adds a real layer of strategy, especially in Search & Destroy.

Maps in Ranked rotation are mostly solid—Silo, Checkmate Redux, and Kinsasha Station all play really well. I’m not sure about BioLab, though—still feels unbalanced and a little too spawn-trappy for Ranked.

Meta is developing fast. Most teams are running one Mach-5, two Rival-9s, and a KR-M54 or sniper. SMG rush strats dominate right now, but midrange control is crucial on the longer maps.

There’s already talk of CDL teams scrimming hard, and rumors that Treyarch is working on weekly tuning updates for Ranked. Huge if true. Competitive COD feels alive again.
